Congratulations to Loften Wilson and Tattyana Mendez for their achievements in Capital Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Loften got 2nd place in the area of Environmental Management and Tattyana got 3rd place in the area of Medicine and Health.

We are having our curriculum night on Thursday, September 9, 2010. It will be from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend this event to meet with the teachers and get more information about the curriculum, class projects, FCAT and more. Refreshments and light snack will be served.

This week 7th and 8th graders went on a field trip to the Leon County Courthouse. Students held a mock trial in a real court room with a real judge. Students then took an extensive tour of the Courthouse. Students also sat in on a real trial both adult and juvenile. The students had a great educational experience.

Student Picture Day is on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Students need to bring their forms along with the money for their selections. Navy uniform shirts are required for the pictures, please remember to wear on that day.

Clubs run from 4:00 pm to 4:50 pm starting. Students who signed up for clubs need to arrange their own transportation. All after school clubs, tutorings and activities are free of charge.
However, if a student is not picked up at 3:50 and not attending to any clubs, daily after school care fee will apply. Students who attend the clubs and not picked up at 4:50 will also be subject to daily after school care fee. For more information about afterschool care please click here.
