Here are the steps for new applicants to apply to Stars Middle School for the 2010-2011 school year.

Step 1: Complete and submit the online application. After you submit your application you will receive an email confirmation that will ask you to verify your email address. Therefore it is very important that you provide a valid and available email address at the time of the application, and check the email account you provided regularly.

Step 2: Lottery will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2009. Winners will be notified via the email address provided on the application. If you do not hear from us in a week or so after the lottery give us a call. SMS applicants who are not chosen in the lottery will be automatically placed on the waiting list in the date and time order their application was received. 

Step 3: After you receive an invitation e-mail/call to register your child, come to the school as directed in the notification and complete the registration in person. There is no testing or any other academic eligibility requirement.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2010-2011 ENROLLMENT:

1st Open House – Thursday, January 21, 2010 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM
No RSVP required. All family members are invited.

Lottery Date – Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM.

Enrollment for lottery winners starts – Monday, January 25, 2010

Enrollment for waiting list starts - Monday, February 1, 2010

Open enrollment starts - Monday, February 8, 2010
